This world was created for the 2022 Spookality World Jam with asset collaboration from Sageidae.
From Above went through a few revisions, with the original concept involving a crashed UFO. It evolved into a meteor impact that delivered an organic mutation that is slowly changing the environment.
A heavy fog envelopes the world and you are gradually introduced to the spreading infection until you reach ground zero where everything has been taken over.
If the sky calls‚ do you answer? Created by WalGesicht for Spookality 2022 in collaboration with Sageidae․
The Hushed Forest originally started as a forest design exercise, but grew in scope until it became Part I of the "Centipony Saga" of worlds and wasn't actually completed until after Part II was finished.
This world really kicked off my journey in environmental narratives. I believe video games and VR especially are uniquely suited for self-discoverable story telling where exploration and connecting the dots is the focus.
There is a simple puzzle system to progress through the world, but it's mainly designed to encourage exploration and discovery.
A forest of secrets draws the ever curious in search of the Centipony․
The Desert of Whispered Silence is Part II of the "Centipony Saga" where players can learn a little more of the central mystery. It started as a jungle concept, but was swapped to an open desert to provide contrast to Part I. However, the giant dried dead tree that has grown into the temple insinuates a once lush environment. It was in development at the same time as Part I.
I wanted to created the feeling of a mystery just out of reach. The world feels endless, but watchful towers keep you in. Figures walk the horizon watching the player, but run away when approached. Dark blue eyed beings stare at you from within the fallen spheres, but vanish when you get near.
Like Part I there are puzzles to be solved, but they are there to tell a story. They are simple, but a few have been given one level of abstraction to slow the player down a little and get their focus.
A desert forgotten․ A temple buried․ Secrets hidden away․ Is the Centipony here?
Trivia Temple was a large collaborative project from the now defunct improv troupe GIE. It was a trivia game show entirely produced and shot live in VRChat. Contestants were given three choices to a question and they had to choose a corresponding platform to their answer before the connecting pillars were lowered. Those who got the answer wrong were dropped into pit below the platform and respawned over the viewing area.
I was tasked with drawing up concepts, designing, and modeling most of the world. Additional assets were created by ZircronSwift, music and sound design by Resnauv, and was coded by Goblox. Legends of the Hidden Temple was an obvious inspiration.

A Simple Pool is exactly as its name implies. I created it in a couple days for my friend Whisper to use in a video so she could have interactive water. Needless to say that video didn't happen, but it strangely became one of my most visited worlds despite having done no promotion for it.

Glorp Court started its creation as a world to hold an improv court show called "VRChat Night Court". I eventually expanded it for general public use since there was little variety in decent court worlds at the time. This was also my first foray into coding with Udon#.
There's a goofy air to it with the court holding to my usual whale themes, including whale judge, bailiff, and lawyer avatars available through the paintings on the walls.
The world features two evidence rooms with a variety of odd objects to use, controls for presenting evidence on a monitor and raising objections, and a taser that when used teleports the player to a jailcell in the basement.
High quality courtroom world with a variety of props‚ tools to present evidence‚ a working jail cell‚ and custom avatars․
Whaleface Industries: Avatar Vendor (formally Whaleface Industries: Underling Division) was my first step in custom asset creation. The entire interior, save for the plants, was modeled and textured by me. It was created during the introduction of Quest to VRChat and used to house my first Quest compatible avatars. Players can access the avatars via a kind of vending machine in the main chamber.
Features an avatar vending machine where you can select from a group of cross-platform avatars and an underwater observation room to relax in․
This was my very first world. I was still quite new to 3D modeling at the time so I utilized many a free asset and the VRChat homeworld kit. I wanted to create this calm, but mysterious underwater scene. A blue whale circles the map overhead and bioluminescent jellyfish light up the darkness outside. It's been updated a couple times over the years and still serves as my homeworld to this day.
